1 2 Do I need a paid plan to use Animate AI?
Browse previews free. Generation requires purchased credits or an existing account balance.
3 Which plan should I start with?
Start with the smallest plan while you validate prompts, source files, and workflow fit. Upgrade only after you understand your real monthly usage.
4 Do free browser tools consume credits?
No. The browser tools run separately and do not use hosted generation credits.
5 Do the same credits work across image-to-video and text-to-animation?
Yes. The same balance can be used across image-to-video and text-to-animation workflows. Exact usage depends on model, duration, resolution, reference inputs, and settings.
6 When do credits expire, and what happens if a failed task is refunded after that window?
Paid credits follow the validity shown on the plan. If a paid task fails, restored credits keep the remaining validity they had when spent.
7 How do animation credit costs change?
The task cost is shown before generation. It changes with the selected model, duration, resolution, reference inputs, and animation settings you choose.
8 Do prompt translation and auto-optimize consume credits?
Yes. Translate to English costs 1 credit per successful request, and Auto-optimize costs 2 credits per successful request. If no usable result is returned, we do not deduct credits for that attempt.
9 Can I cancel a subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues through the current paid period unless a refund is separately approved under the refund policy or required by law.
10 Can I get a refund?
An unused one-time credit purchase requested within 3 calendar days may be reviewed for a refund. Used credits and delivered outputs are generally not refundable, and the Refund Policy lists the other eligible cases. Email support@animateai.org with your order details.
11 Do paid plans add a watermark to my results?
No. “No watermark” is part of every paid plan listed above.
12 Can I use the results commercially?
You are responsible for holding the rights to the images, prompts, and clips you upload and for how you use the outputs. Read the Terms of Service before commercial use, because model and provider terms can also apply.
13 How do I get help with billing or plan selection?
